Somer’s Approach

Somer loves combining your style, needs, and budget while marrying them up with your personality. Somer feels that everyone deserves a unique space just for them. 

Communication is key! She believes that her clients should be well educated and informed throughout the process so that their dreams and vision become reality.  With experience in project management Somer helps navigate through the concerns and assists in ensuring proper expectations for both her clients and those involved in each project. 

With 16+ years experience her network is vast. From architects and builders to artists and vendors, Somer has every step of the process covered.

Somer  found  her  passion  in  design  as a child  and  decided to make  it  her  formal  career  in  2002.  This  venture  allowed  her  to  focus  on  raising  her  son,  all  while  doing  something  she  truly  loves.  Growing  up  in  such  a  creative  household  along  with  her  education  allows  Somer  to  know  the  ins  and  outs  of  design from all angles.  

This unique name was penned by Somer’s inspiration, her mother. ‘Rasls’ is the acronym of the girls’ names in her family and was used to represent her clothing and fashion line. Growing up in this environment allowed Somer to develop a  discerning eye for colors, hues, compositions,  fabrics and  textures. Years later Somer’s mother had to close her business due to illness but Somer found a way to keep her mother’s dream alive, in a somewhat new fashion.

While it was Somer’s mother who refined Somer‘s creative vision it was her father who taught her how to work with her hands.  Growing up Somer had countless experiences assisting her father as he built everything from furniture to homes and in 1998 Somer was able to put the culmination of these experiences together when she assisted her father in construction of their family home.  The unique combination of design, style and construction skills make Somer indispensable when it comes to assisting  in a new build, remodel, or finding  accents for your design!
